System Software Specialist

Analyzer Production Department

Position Description:

We are a well-established market leader in the immune monitoring field, and we are seeking a highly skilled System Software Specialist to work with our Analyzer Production Department. The System Software Specialist will support the needs of our instrument manufacturing as assigned by Production Management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Instrumentation Installation: Aligning lenses and configuring cameras for all analyzer types, configuring related software, configuring plate types and colors; finalizing computer and analyzer settings; ensuring the products meet/exceed established quality standards; preparing products for final Quality Control
  • Computer Installation and Maintenance: Preparing computer systems for customized orders and our instrumentation, diagnosing and repairing of computer/instrumentation customer support issues
  • Software Installation: Generating and preparing software and all other related software for customized installation on instrumentation (analyzer orders, computer upgrades, satellite software, etc.)
  • Quality Control: Performing inspections, checking the installation of software on instrumentation, performing qualifications (reference plates, ImmunoQualify), performing in-process inspection and documenting results; writing and updating inspection procedures and checklist, championing efforts in order to comply with all safety, quality, and operational documentation requirements and best practices
  • Miscellaneous assignments as needed by Production Management and team

Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associates Degree in Computer Science or work equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to configure, troubleshoot, and repair PC hardware
  • Solid PC skills and proficiency in office productivity software
  • Knowledge to deploy, manage, and maintain Windows operating systems
  • Very good eye for detail to ensure the finished products meet/exceed all the CTL standards of excellence
