Position Description:
We are a well-established market leader in the immune monitoring field seeking a highly reliable Building Maintenance Technician with versatility to join our Facilities Maintenance team. Under the direction of the Building Managers, the Building Maintenance Technician will assist with ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of three buildings, both inside and out. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional knowledge of maintenance and attention to detail helping to maintain the CTL buildings and properties.
As the Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
- Performing quality checks on air conditioning, heating systems, plumbing and electrical systems
- Replacing light bulbs and repairing light fixtures as needed
- Changing furnace and air conditioner filters and belts; oils furnace and air conditioner
- Keeping maintenance area adequately stocked with tools and supplies
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction and promptly addressing customer needs
- Inspections and reporting deficiencies to the appropriate personnel, as well as monitoring the progress of repairs and improvements
- During the winter, their duties expand to include daily checks of outdoor walkways for snow and ice clearance to ensure safety
- Removing snow from walkways using snow blower, broom, or shovel and salting walkways
- Oversee the cleanliness of main entrances, making sure the entrances are mopped daily, free of snow and slush that may have been tracked in by employees
- Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of three buildings, both inside and out
- Caring for indoor plants, contributing to a pleasant and inviting work environment
- Taking charge of post-party cleanups and meeting room organization
- Maintaining the coffee stations, ensuring mugs are cleaned and replenishing supplies of coffee, milk, and sugar
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in Maintenance or related field
- High school diploma required
- Technical Training or Certificates in electrical, plumbing HVAC maintenance
- Class B, Commercial Driver’s License
- Tow Motor License preferred; but not required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform tasks under adverse weather conditions
- Basic work experience in electrical plumbing systems and maintenance repair
- Basic work experience in maintaining and operating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
