ImmunoSpot® Kits & Components

Why choose our ELISPOT and FluoroSpot kits

Standardization and Reduced Variability

All of CTL’s kits have been optimized with serum-free media to reduce variability and eliminate the need for blocking steps.

Maximized Sensitivity for T and B Cell Detection

The ImmunoSpot® test kits are specifically optimized to achieve maximal sensitivity. This is crucial for detecting and analyzing the secretory footprint of individual T and B cells.

Detailed Subpopulation Analysis of T Cells

CTL’s multiplexed ELISPOT/FluoroSpot T cell kits are suited for optimal detection and analysis of both CD4+ and CD8+ subpopulations. Learn More.

All Inclusive Serum-free Media

CTL’s serum-free media platform includes freezing, thawing, testing media and has been formulated for low background and high antigen-specific signal performance in T cell ImmunoSpot® assays. Learn More.

PBMC

CTL offers PBMC with pre-defined properties for assay development. Such samples serve as invaluable positive controls and reference samples for assay validation. Learn More.

Antibody Levels Poorly Reflect on the Frequency of Memory B Cells Generated following SARS-CoV-2, Seasonal Influenza, or EBV Infection

Antibody levels weakly correlate with memory B cells for SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and Epstein–Barr virus. Direct monitoring of memory B cells is necessary for accurate immune assessment.

CERI, CEFX, and CPI: Largely Improved Positive Controls for Testing Antigen-Specific T Cell Function in PBMC Compared to CEF

Reliable T cell immune monitoring requires assessing PBMC functional fitness using universal controls for CD8+ and CD4+ T cells and APCs, addressing potential variables.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What comes in the kit?

    • CTL T cell enzymatic kits come with the plates, diluents, capture antibody(s) (if not pre-coated), detection antibody(s), enzyme-conjugated tertiary antibody(s), substrates(s) and serum-free culture medium, CTL-Test.
    • CTL B cell enzymatic kits come with plates, diluents, capture antibody(s), detection antibody(s), enzyme-conjugated tertiary antibody(s), substrates(s) and B-poly-S.
    • CTL T cell fluorescent kits come with the plates, diluents, capture antibody(s) (if not pre-coated), detection antibody(s), fluorescently conjugated tertiary antibody(s) and serum-free culture medium, CTL-Test.
    • CTL B cell fluorescent kits come with plates, diluents, capture antibody(s), detection antibody(s), fluorescently conjugated tertiary antibody(s) and B-Poly-S.
  • What are the optimal storage conditions for the ELISPOT and FluoroSpot kits?

All kits should be stored at 4-8°C. Non-pre-coated plates can be stored at room temperature and B-Poly-S should be removed from B-cell kits, preferably aliquoted for single use and stored at -20°C.

  • What is the expiration date for kits?

All kits come with a minimum of a 6-month expiration date.
