Human IL-5 Single-Color FluoroSpot

This optimized FluoroSpot assay reliably detects and measures human IL-5 secretions by stimulated effector cells in frequencies as low as one in a million.

Scanning and analysis requires an analyzer with fluorescent capabilities. CTL recommends any of the following Series 5 or Series 6 readers running ImmunoSpot® Software version 5.3 or higher: S5UV, FluoroCore, Ultra, Universal, Ultimate. Capture kits

This ImmunoSpot® Capture kit includes diluents, serum-free assay medium and either capture antibodies for each cytokine and low autofluorescence PVDF-membrane plates or pre-coated low autofluorescence PVDF-membrane plates.

Detection kits

This ImmunoSpot® Detection kit contains detection antibodies and fluorochrome conjugates that bind to the secreted cytokine of interest. The fluorochrome conjugates contain proprietary dye systems for fluorescence detection of the specific cytokine by scanning and analyzing the emitted wavelength of the fluorochrome(s) using an ImmunoSpot® fluorescent Analyzer.
